Atef is an obvious merge between video and graphics which allows creating an alternative form of traditional film making. However,this form provides more freedom of expression and poetic images. In order to go about making Atef the traditional way it would've needed a high budget production, specific location and certain weather conditions so that seemed the most suitable method to execute it. The two main characters were shot on a " Blue Screen" ; compositing and 2D graphics were later on applied.
